Classic BM is a Melbourne based online retailer of parts to suit early model BMW’s. Our mission is to provide our customers with the highest quality parts for their vehicles, while providing the highest level of customer service, all while doing so in an environmentally sustainable way.
While our beginnings have started small, our range of parts is always growing, listening to our customers needs and executing on feedback and areas we believe need improvement and where we should direct our growth.
Our in-house built website by our small team and input from our supporters have created the simple yet effective online store you are using today. Our customers are our main focus on everything we do and for this reason, every bit of input and feedback we receive is acted upon to improve the experience for our users.

Although we would love to just talk BMW’s, here’s some information about our Shipping, Warranty’s, Returns, T’s & C’s, Privacy and Security.

Shipping:

Our Promise:
Here at Classic BM, we are committed to providing the best shipping and handling rates we possibly can. Although our operations aren’t huge, we strive to have a zero carbon and environmental impact from our operations. Where possible, we will stand by our claim to offer 100% eco-friendly parcels and packaging for all orders, however due to distributing external suppliers and companies products, goods will retain packaging from the respective supplier and its label. At times, if our packaging suppliers are out of stock of parcels, we will use regular postage bags and boxes until our stock has been replenished. These items should be disposed of thoughtfully and in the correct manner. Eco-friendly shipping cartons can’t be offered on bulky or large items shipped unfortunately.

Shipping Service:
Our parcels are shipped Australia-wide by either Sendle or AusPost, who both claim to have a commitment to a 100% carbon neutral shipping service. This claim is made by Sendle and AusPost, not Classic BM, and we won’t be held liable for any misleading or change in information on this matter. For more info please visit Sendle or AusPost. In some instances where our usual postage services are not an option, a courier service of our choice will be used. Any shipping rate increase will not be passed on to our customers at any time in this instance. (Bulky and oversized items excluded)

Shipping Rates:
All orders with a total of less than $100 are subject to a $9.95 shipping and handling charge Australia wide. All orders with a total of $100 or more are eligible for free shipping Australia wide (excludes bulky and oversized items) and will be processed and shipped same day if ordered prior to 11am. If you finalise your order after 11am, we will still strive to process and ship your order on the same day, however the more likely case is that it will be shipped the next day.

Shipping Times:
We are typically shipping orders Monday – Friday, 8am- 4pm.
We usually expect your order to be at your door 2-5 days after being posted, however as with all shipping companies, there can be a delay in your order arriving. In this instance, we ask for you to email us at info@classicbm.com.au with your enquiry and we will get back to you within 24 hours.

Express Delivery:
If an order is required in a hurry, we can organise next day delivery to most metropolitan areas around the country. This service will be delivered via air bag and typically costs about $25-$30. Bulky and oversized items are unable to be sent via air bag, however we can arrange other methods of express delivery.

FREE SHIPPING AUSTRALIA WIDE FOR ORDERS OVER $100

Warranty:

All items ordered from Classic BM come with a 12 month limited warranty (unless otherwise stated) in addition to your consumer statuary rights in Australia. Where an item such as a non-consumable (ie. a door lock) has an issue, it is the customers responsibility to send the item back to Classic BM for assessment, and at times, the product may need to be sent to the supplier for further assessment. If the product is found to be faulty and is within its warranty period, a replacement will be sent to the customer at no charge, and we will also send you a $10 gift card to be used in our store to offset the cost of the postage paid to return the item. In the occurrence of a replacement not being available or an item is discontinued, an alternative variation or a refund will be offered. If the item is found to be damaged by the user, incorrectly installed, misused or isn’t covered under warranty such as a consumable at the end of its life (ie. worn brake pads), the goods will be sent back at the customers cost, or will be destroyed and disposed of at the customers request. We will do our best to resolve all warranty issues in a timely manner, however Classic BM won’t be held liable for any delays in the process. For more info or to put forward a warranty claim, email us at info@classicbm.com.au and have your original order number, full name, phone number and a brief description of the issue included so that we can verify you and your issue in a timely manner.

Returns:

In the rare occurrence you have an issue with your order, we will happily accept returns for up to 14 days after you’ve made your purchase. This includes a 7 day grace period where your items may be in transit. If there is an issue with your order, please contact us immediately at info@classicbm.com.au and we will advise how to complete your return.
For change of mind on purchases or incorrect item/s ordered, we will still honour the 14 day refund policy, however the return postage cost is the responsibility of the customer. Goods returned will be assessed for any tampering or damage upon arrival back to us, and a refund by the same payment method used for the original purchase will be issued after our assessment. Returns requested after 14 days will be subject to a restocking fee and this will be discussed on a case by case basis dependant on product and time frame.
To be eligible for a return, any items sent back to us must be unused, clean, in its original packaging and in a re-sellable condition. If any of these points are not adhered to, we will be unable to process your return.

T’s & C’s, Privacy and Security:

Our website uses Comodo SSL to offer the highest level of 256-bit encryption so that your payment and order details are safely guarded.
Collection of all and any data entered on our website will not be shared with any third-party’s and is only collected in order to make the user experience of our website a pleasant one. All data collected is in accordance with and protected by the Privacy Act.
Classic BM reserves the right to cancel an order if either payment or stock cannot be fulfilled. Orders without payment will not be processed or shipped.
